Sprung & Dagger:

A Card Stab Routine!

The Effect:

A "sword card" visually appears from nowhere, impaling the side of a rubber-banded deck. Upon removing the rubber band and spreading to the sword card's location, it is revealed to have landed directly on top of the previously selected card!

At its core it is a card stab routine. A card is freely selected and lost in the deck. The deck is wrapped in a rubber band to prevent any tampering with by the magician, as he talks about the world's most dangerous card trick and risking life and limb for his art.

Sprung & Dagger is quick, visual and fun to watch, perfect as an opening effect.
